The Hope Of The Gospel

That by two immutable things, in which it was impossible for God to lie, we might have a strong consolation, who have fled for refuge to lay hold upon the hope set before us:Which hope we have as an anchor of the soul, both sure and stedfast, and which entereth into that within the veil.(Heb 6:18,19)

Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, which according to his abundant mercy hath begotten us again unto a lively hope by the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead, To an inheritance incorruptible, and undefiled, and that fadeth not away, reserved in heaven for you, Who are kept by the power of God through faith unto salvation ready to be revealed in the last time. (1 Peter 1:3-5)

(As it is written, I have made thee a father of many nations,) before him whom he believed, even God, who quickeneth the dead, and calleth those things which be not as though they were. ( Romans 4:17,18) Who against hope believed in hope, that he might become the father of many nations, according to that which was spoken, So shall thy seed be.
And not only they, but ourselves also, which have the firstfruits of the Spirit, even we ourselves groan within ourselves, waiting for the adoption, to wit, the redemption of our body.For we are saved by hope: but hope that is seen is not hope: for what a man seeth, why doth he yet hope for? (Romans 8:23,24)

For whatsoever things were written aforetime were written for our learning, that we through patience and comfort of the scriptures might have hope.(Romans 15:4)
When I was a child, I spake as a child, I understood as a child, I thought as a child: but when I became a man, I put away childish things. For now we see through a glass, darkly; but then face to face: now I know in part; but then shall I know even as also I am knownAnd now abideth faith, hope, charity, these three; but the greatest of these is charity. (1 Corinthians 13:11-13)

Behold, what manner of love the Father hath bestowed upon us, that we should be called the sons of God: therefore the world knoweth us not, because it knew him not; Beloved, now are we the sons of God, and it doth not yet appear what we shall be: but we know that, when he shall appear, we shall be like him; for we shall see him as he is. And every man that hath this hope in him purifieth himself, even as he is pure. (1John 3:1-3)

And who is he that will harm you, if ye be followers of that which is good?But and if ye suffer for righteousness' sake, happy are ye: and be not afraid of their terror, neither be troubled;

But sanctify the Lord God in your hearts: and be ready always to give an answer to every man that asketh you a reason of the hope that is in you with meekness and fear:(1Peter 3:13-15)

The Man God Uses

God delights in using men and women to accomplish His plans and purpose on earth. God always manifest His awesome power and presence through human instrument. So, man is God’s own channel of blessings.

However, before God uses a man, He first of all work on that man to conform to God’s standard. The man God uses must be a born again soul, cleansed from sin and forgiven. He must be a called man; called out of the world in to God’s kingdom, out of sin in to righteousness and out of darkness in to light, the light of Jesus.

The man God uses is a man that is broken by LOVE and bound by love. He must be baptized with love and compassion for lost sinners. Baptized in the Holy Ghost, he must be bold in the Lord and brave for the Lord. Also, he must be burned with zeal and consuming passion for souls, striving to win souls in to God’s kingdom. ( Roman 9:1,2;10:1)

His message: The man God uses does not speak his own message from his mind, he receives the word from God’s mouth and give it out to the people just as it is. Acts 8:5,35. He does not preach religion which is man’s way to God but Christ suffering and work of redemption which is God’s way to man. He will preach neither the philosophy of men, old women fables, human ideology nor the opinion of men which cannot save a soul.

What is his message then? He preach Jesus and no other. Acts 4:12;20:20,21. His message is that of repentance and faith in our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. Such a message is complete, comprehensible, simple, convincing, convicting and converting the soul. Acts 2:37-39
The result of the message is that it brings about spectacular conversion, miracles of healing and deliverance, divine supernatural interventions, joy and rejoicing in the Lord.
So be the man God uses. You can become one and you will certainly be.
