THE GOLDEN RULE

Doing unto others what we expect them to do unto us is the golden rule.
Christ emphasized the believer's responsibilities toward God and fellow men in His teaching. He did not only teach us what to know and believe, but what to do and what not to do.
As christians, our manner of lives must be Bible based. The scripture spells out clearly how we are to relate with our fellow men."Therefore all things whatsoever ye would that men should do to you,do ye even so to them:for this is the law and the prophet"(Matthew 7:12)
Sefless love is the basic principle that should regulate our relationship with others. As it would not be our joy to be unjustifiably criticized, judged or castigated,so also must we not do to others.

It is unchristian to believe evil reports of others and act on same without first finding out the true position of things. This will disrupt fellowship and unity. We must do to our neighbours what we ourselves acknowledge to be proper and reasonable.
In our business relationship,we must be honest and trustworthy. Our business partners must be dealt with faithfully.Unjust weight and balances, adulteration of goods to have greater gain must not be employed in our dealings with our customers.
Godly virtues of honesty, love and purity befits every child of God who is devoted to Christ.

All men will definitely not understand us.There will be those who will approve of us and those who will do evil to us.When our labour of love is not being appreciated but rather rejected,we must still continue to love."recompense to no man evil for evil" Romans 12:17,21.
